Eligibility Criteria To Apply For SVMCM Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme
- Area - West Bengal (The applicant should be a resident of your West Bengal).
- Category #1: Must be a Regular College-going student mode of one of the following:
- Class 11 and 12 of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education, or Madrasa Education for the Higher Secondary level.
- UG courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, and Technical / Professional fields from AICTE-approved institutes under the WBSCTVE&SD.
- Postgraduate in the Science, Arts, Commerce, Technical, and Management fields from institutions that are affiliated with any State Universities of all UGC approved universities or AICTE approved and 1st class MCA/MBAs /1st class degree in 2 years full-time PG Diploma in Logistics.
- M.Phil and Doctoral programs ( NON-NET Junior Research Fellow ) NET-Lectureship - from state-aided institutions
- To get the scholarship, applicants need to fulfill the required academic criteria.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than ₹2,50,000

Renewal Process of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2024
Candidates seeking renewal of the SVMCM Scholarship 2024 must submit their application online on the official website to the appropriate scholarship approving authority within one month from the date of admission to the next higher class, following promotion by passing on the first attempt.
For semester-mode courses, all semester examinations must be cleared in the first attempt.
Renewals for students at specific levels of study will be granted based on academic performance as follows:
- Higher Secondary to Undergraduate Level: A minimum of 60% marks, combining both semesters, is required in the promotional examination.
- Postgraduate Level: A minimum of 50% marks, combining both semesters, is required.
Directions for Renewal for General Degree/Postgraduation Degree Programmes (DPI):
- 1st Renewal: Submission of SEM 1 and SEM 2 marksheets.
- 2nd Renewal: Submission of SEM 3 and SEM 4 marksheets.
