MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is one of the foremost national-level tests for MBA, MMS, and PGDM programs. It is a standardized test that began to be administered from 1988 onwards. The whole objective of the same is to offer a robust evaluation mechanism for B-schools in India to screen aspirants for these courses. 

The Ministry of Education approved it as a national-level examination back in 2003 and it has evolved into a new-age entrance to more than 600 such business schools throughout the country. 

Interestingly, the MAT examination is administered four times every year, i.e. February, May, August, and December. It is also conducted in paper-based or computer-based modes. MAT Exam Date 2025

PBT- 

• The MAT registration 2025 date will be announced after the application form is released in the last week of December, 2024. The MAT exam 2025 registration last date (submission of form) could be the third week of February, 2025. 
• The MAT PBT test is scheduled for the last week of February, 2025, with the MAT exam admit card release expected in the third week of February, 2025.
• The results should be declared around March/April, 2025. 

CBT- 

• The application form could be released in the fourth week of December, 2024
• The last date to apply is expected to be the 1^st week of March, 2025 
• Admit cards should be released in the 1^st week of March, 2025
• The MAT 2025 exam date in the CBT mode is expected to be the 2^nd week of March, 2025.
• The results should be declared by April/May, 2025.

MAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility guidelines for MAT registration 2025 include the following: 

• Graduates of any discipline can apply to take the examination 
• It is also open to those in the final years of their graduate programs 

Documents Required for MAT 2025

The key documents required to apply for the MAT entrance examination include the following: 

• Scanned image of your photograph (between 10 and 50 kb)
• A scanned image of your signature (between 5 and 20 kb)
• Credit card/debit card/net banking details for payment
• Valid email address 

MAT 2025 Mode & Other Details

The MAT 2025 examination will be held in the following modes: 

• Paper-based test (PBT) 
• Computer-based test (CBT)
• PBT + CBT
• CBT 1 + CBT 2

you can opt for an extra testing mode by paying the additional fee of Rs 1,500 along with the standard registration fee. Those choosing additional tests will have the advantage of choosing two extra management institutions to send their scores, along with the existing option of choosing five such institutions.

• Complete the MAT registration 2025 process at https://mat.aima.in with your debit/credit card, UPI, net banking, or UPI wallet (for fee payments)
• Once it is released, you can download your admit card from the same website (applicant dashboard) 
• This card will have details of your name, Form number, Roll number, exam date, testing time, venue, etc.

MAT 2025 Fees

The MAT 2025 fees are Rs 2,100 for the PBT or CBT mode, while those choosing PBT + CBT or CBT 1 + CBT 2 will have to pay Rs 3,600.
