The program aims at engaging students pursuing UG and PG courses as well as PhD and research scholars from recognized institutions in India or abroad. Students who have completed their degree programs within the last 2 years can also apply. The candidates will work for various units of program divisions of MoPR.

1. Students pursuing UG and PG courses as well as PhD and research scholars from recognized institutions in India or abroad are eligible for the program.
2. Those who have completed their degree programs within 2 years of the internship program from recognized institutions in India or overseas are also eligible to apply.

How to apply for the MoPR Internship 2025 Program?
Here are the steps to follow:
1. As a first step, new candidates need to register at the ServicePlus website at https://serviceonline.gov.in/ to get the login details.
2. Once the registration process is done, candidates can visit https://panchayat.gov.in/, the official portal of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj to apply for the internship. Click on MoPR internship under RGSA on the homepage
3. A new page will open. You can use your username and password (login credentials) to log in and fill out the online application form.
4. Enter all the details and also choose an area of interest. Upload the photograph and submit the form.
You may note that an applicant can avail of the internship program only once during a particular year. The application remains valid for the fiscal year when the candidate has applied for the internship. The candidates must produce a letter of introduction from the Head of Department (HOD) of their institute as well as a No Objection Certificate (NOC) mentioning that the college has no objection to the student’s internship during the selected period.

As per the revised guideline of the internship program of the MoPR, the start date is 12/03/2024 and the end date is 31/03/2026. So, interns can apply within this duration for the internship program.
